Skills and Knowledge
This position requires a seasoned student services professional with at least five to eight years of experience in student services, preferably with graduate students. A master’s degree is required. Excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, and public speaking skills are required. Also required are demonstrated cultural sensitivity, the ability to relate to diverse groups, and proven effectiveness and expertise in academic and student services in a complex environment. Excellent organizational skills in development and managing projects, and demonstrated leadership skills including being able to work under pressure using creative problem solving skills. The ability to think systemically about the management of student data is also required.
