Position is well versed in ITIL, specifically around processes within Service Transition and Service Operation with concentration on Asset (SW/HW) and Configuration Lifecycle Management Processes. A successful candidate will work closely with cross functional teams including infrastructure operations, service desk, service management, project delivery, supplier management, architecture and applications to effectively and efficiently use our established processes. Support newly created framework to identify and track non-supported IT assets and configuration items as well as supported within the End User Services and Compute towers. This position is critical in insuring all asset and configuration data is captured accurately during each phase of their lifecycle for reporting and compliance purposes.
Support leadership in the establishment of all processes and procedures to effectively manage asset and configuration items through agreed upon lifecycle of scope. This may include all of the following; Plan, Procure, Receive, Tag, Build, Deploy, Discover, Manage, Decommission, Disposal.
In conjunction with our Service Providers, assist in the planning, building and movement into a stable steady state of the Service Asset and Configuration Management processes.
Develop and enhance integration between the ITIL process touchpoints, specifically Service Transition and Service Operation
Provide Key Performance Indicators for measurement of process effectiveness, process compliance and process outcomes
Assist in the creation and deliverance of process training
Identify and develop solutions for compliance gaps
Develop reporting to support various functions such as Annual/Continuous Operating Planning, Aging, Status
Ability to interpret and manipulate large volumes of data and generate output valuable to different levels within the organization
Excellent problem solving skills
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business (or related field)
ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
Minimum of 3 years of experience working within the ITIL Framework
Understanding of Asset management and configuration principles
Strong MS Excel and Visio skills
ITIL v3 Intermediate Certification is a plus
