This position supports a variety of HR activities for a global Supply Chain organization and provides leadership implementing various strategies and HR initiatives. This role will provide primary operational/day-to-day support for the Strategic Sourcing Organization and Materials Leaders and employees, with liaison/coordination as needed among Regional Directors and HR Leaders. The position requires team participation, interfaces with all levels of the organization, and provides the individual exposure to a high-level customer group.
The Senior HR Representative reports to an HR Manager and with the direction of the HR Manager, leads key HR processes such as talent acquisition, talent management, leadership development and succession planning, performance management, change management, employee relations, recruitment strategy, compensation and benefits, and driving a culture of inclusion and engagement.
Coach managers to set strategies for their organization and people development.
Counsel managers, as appropriate, during merit review process on guidelines, compensation philosophy, ratings criteria, etc. Audit PADRs and offer development suggestions.
Provide ongoing support to supervisors and managers with employee relations, counseling and PIPs, employee development and corrective action issues. Conducts exit interviews and processes exits.
Interface with the Talent Acquisition recruiters and hiring managers regarding job openings. Conduct interviews and assessments of candidates to fill open positions. Represent Rockwell Automation at career fairs, campus and student organizations, and other recruitment avenues.
Be proficient with compensation plans, plan administration details and pay practices to ensure job offers are made properly.
Act as an employee advocate by providing council to employees as required.
Investigate in conjunction, with the Ombudsman, formal employee complaints and makes recommendation for company's response/action.
Assist with and facilitate AAP compliance activities, Ethics training, and Security training.
Actively participate in Supply Chain Global Voices Engagement Survey work.
Help support the Supply Chain internship recruiting and Supply Chain summer intern program and partner with Supply Chain Leadership Development Program (FLDP) Managers on program execution.
Coordinate Supply Chain Talent Assessment and Leadership Review (Succession Planning) for client groups.
Responsible for accurate employee data for global Supply Chain organization via SAP.
Partner with HR Analyst for Supply Chain monthly and quarterly metrics/reporting.
Answer policy and process questions to managers and employees directly as required (People Policy, FMLA, Disability, Leave of Absence, Reduction in Force, etc.).
Involvement with other projects and tasks as needed.
BA or BS degree in business, human resources or related field. MBA or Masters in Human Resources preferred.
Minimum of 5 years related experience.
Limited travel requirements primarily for domestic recruitment (10-15% estimated)
Solid knowledge of the full range of HR functional areas, including talent management, compensation and benefits, succession planning, and organizational development.
Good relationship builder with the ability to work effectively across business, functional and geographic lines in a multicultural environment.
Strong business acumen, executive presence, experience and communications abilities in order to command the respect of the leadership team.
Experience with HR module of SAP.
Experience working autonomously with a remote employee base.
Ability to sort through complex issues and conduct comparative analysis of multiple solutions.
Demonstrated strong project management skills.
