We are looking for energetic engineering students who want to develop their career in the Test Engineering function for either software, embedded software or hardware specialties and be part of a collaborative team that loves innovation. Test engineering is a challenging field that spans multiple disciplines, requires exposure and knowledge in both HW and SW, and touches every product. January 2017 and May 2017 start dates available.
As a co-op you are an essential part of the team and work hand in hand with engineers. A senior-level mentor will be assigned to support your professional growth and to ease the transition into the professional work environment.

Our goal is to prepare students to compete for an entry-level test position upon graduation.
Works with software, firmware, hardware, and/or process engineers while learning about and executing software/firmware product testing.
Performs entry-level software or embedded software testing functions including, but not limited to, test design, execution, automation, and anomaly reporting.
Assures that developed products meet requirements and are within total quality management standards.
Will be exposed to a variety of testing methodologies and tools, including manual and automated test.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, and exposure to software development or test methodologies.
Engineering and Technicians
Architecture and Software
Must be attending an accredited four year college or university majoring in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
Basic knowledge of C++, C#, Java, or Python. Experience a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Analysis (OOD/OOA).
- GPA must be 3.0 or above
- Legal Authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this job opening.
- Any offer is conditional upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
Basic knowledge of Rockwell Software products to configure a control system
Previous experience with Industrial Automation products (Rockwell or competitor) is highly desirable.
Familiarity with embedded systems, networking, and general computer troubleshooting is highly desirable.
