NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Senior Benefits and Wellness Specialist based in our corporate headquarters in Daytona Beach, FL.
Join our award winning benefits and wellness team. Responsible for daily administration of benefits and providing support to the Benefits and Wellness team. Looking for a team player with ability to work independently and manage various wellness platforms.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for enrolling New Hires in benefit plans in a timely manner. Ensure all new hire benefits paperwork is available, current and legally compliant.
Process and approve employee requests for Qualifying Life Events. Ensures that appropriate timelines are met and coordinating documentation is received from employees.
Oversee the Family Medical Leave Act, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability process. Maintain proper paperwork and communication with employees, employee supervisors, payroll, and disability carriers. Ensure legal compliance with Federal and State Laws is maintained.
Report Worker's Compensation claims in a timely manner, and work with employee and supervisors in compliance with Federal and State Laws. Annual posting of OSHA logs.
Process the medical and flexible spending account claims funding on a weekly (or as needed) basis.
Ensure weekly file feeds to carriers are timely and accurate. Addresses any carrier exception reports that are generated based on file feeds and all errors/ concerns are appropriately and timely addressed.
Assist in annual audits to ensure accuracy of employee benefit plans.
Manage, schedule and execute meetings, webinars, service award ceremonies, wellness screenings, health fairs, flu shots and other employee-related activities.
Responsible for creating employee communications. Accurately and professionally disseminating wellness and benefit information to employees via Company intranet, e-mail blasts, or newsletters.
Ensure documentation of all pertinent communications related to the administration of all benefits matters are captured for filing system.
Other duties as assigned.
Less than 5% travel, including weekends.
