We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our team.
Sales Support Specialist (1701013)
You will manage a multi-faceted, fast-paced position with multiple functions while serving as the Customer and Commercial interfaces. You will be a liaison for the organization and customer base, while ensuring transparency of communication, managing all pricing activities for the customer base.
Formula for Success: You Will Coordinate day-to-day communications between Sales and the internal support functions such as Product Management and Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Regulatory.
o Communicate all product/regulatory/manufacturing changes to customers timely and efficiently.
o Support and provide back-up coverage to sales team.
o Maintain customer records (contacts, addresses, customer material numbers) Function as a pricing analyst for region/business with facilitation of all pricing activities for customers, while managing SAP interface
o Maintain accurate customer pricing to ensure order price accuracy Strive to ensure customer alignment of pricing via price confirmations
o Manage price increases internally & externally, while ensuring price adjustments made
o Investigate-handle-minimize price discrepancies
o Produce price-related credit & debit memo requests
o Create/maintain rebates Important Customer Interaction
o Acts as a communication liaison between the account manager and customer.
o Prepares price quotations for the customer.
o Manages bids and customer price documents as needed.
o Processes samples
o Provides regulatory support via in supportive documentation and/or coordination with Regulatory & Quality Teams to answer inquiries
o Maintain and update sales databases as needed: BizMap, BMS, Supply Commitment Tool.
o Support strategic initiatives within the sales groups, i.e. Special Projects on an as needed basis.
