Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a Maintenance Turnaround (TAR) Engineer to provide execution support and technical leadership in all phases of the Small/Medium Turnaround (TAR) management processes within assigned areas. You will serve as a key contributor and project lead to the implementation TAR planning and execution activities to ensure the highest safety standards, maximum efficiency and cost objectives are fully achieved.

Formula for Success: You Will
- Develop and implement assigned TAR activities across various business units and maintenance areas to ensure business objectives are fully achieved, to include planning, scheduling, communication strategies and work implementation strategies.
- Communicate technical information and provides functional guidance to project personnel to ensure TAR plans and processes, as well as EHS procedures and standards, are being consistently upheld and integrated into the daily execution of work.
- Design and implement new or revised TAR execution plans, processes, procedures and programs to ensure that project and area goals are achieved.
- Design and implement continuous improvement strategies for TAR execution, such as lessons learned and best practices.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You
BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or other Engineering discipline or Construction Management and 5+ years of experience, or a MS Degree and 3+ years of experience
5+ years' experience in a chemical, petrochemical or a similar manufacturing operation strongly preferred
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Maintenance or Construction
Strong technical knowledge and experience in maintenance and/or construction work execution of all types of crafts.
Experience in project management principles in turnaround or capital project management preferred.
Ability to operate as the TAR technical resource to others.
Experience with SAP or similar enterprise software system as well as scheduling tools such as Primavera.
