Manage the Asset Management & Reliability portfolio of offerings globally. Lead strategic planning, analytics and offering rationalization to provide comprehensive service offering definition, value proposition and positioning. Develop service roadmaps to drive increased profitability and excellent customer service. Manage partnerships and team to improve growth and productivity.
Function Specific Roles and Responsibilities
Manage business planning and business case development and execution
Lead Portfolio definition that included resource profiles; design/experiences; technology platforms; customer needs; market analytics (share and margin); competitive benchmarks.
Portfolio marketing including presentation of concepts, value props, design and development methodology to key stakeholders and executives.
Work with Business Unit Product managers, to ensure roadmap of product/services/initiatives are widely understood and supported in portfolio of product offering.
Develop tools, reporting/dashboards to provide portfolio visibility to key work partners.
Responsible for analyzing customer requirements, competitive trends, engineering resource availability and for developing compelling, executable and profitable product roadmap.
Responsible for identifying gaps between the desired roadmap and the realizable roadmap and generate options for bridging the gap (partnerships, acquisitions, 3rd parties etc.)
Advocate the voice of the customer in the product development process.
Provide input on detailed requirements during development
Maintain awareness of industry plans, trends and technologies.
Marketing/PR support for portfolio and associated technologies at events i.e. tradeshows, financial analyst and press interviews.
Monetization of predict and prescribe capabilities to yield differentiated value proposition with regards to data driven asset management services.
Education and/or professional experience:
Minimum of 8+ years in portfolio management, product management, product development, sales and/or marketing.
BA/BS Marketing, Business, Finance. Technical undergraduate education with business/product management professional experience will be considered. Preference to MBA and/or equivalent work experience.
Ability to successfully lead across organizational boundaries, including strong relationship management skills.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to lead diverse and cross functional groups, including outside vendors.
Strong team orientation, both internal and external, with the ability to coach and mentor regardless of reporting relationships.
Strong business acumen with emphasis on financial analysis, root cause investigation and development of solutions/action plans to minimize risks and take advantage of opportunities.
Demonstrated creativity and effectiveness in marketing programs including but not limited to promotions, marketing communications, point of sale, etc.
Ability to analyze issues, develop and deploy solutions within a dynamic environment.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups
Strong time and project schedule management skills required to consistently meet deadlines
