The CISO Project Engineer is responsible for executing and providing program leadership across the Operations & Engineering Services (OES) organization to drive information security practices within manufacturing, product development and overall protection of company and customer confidential information. This position works in collaboration with the Rockwell Automation Chief Information Security Office (CISO) and with other functional areas across the Company.
Collaborate with CISO to understand information security roadmap, provide input on OES related matters, and execute OES information security programs, meeting corresponding milestones and budget guidelines.
Drive best practices and standardization through application rationalization initiatives.
Partner with OES leaders to develop programs and manage progress in RA Design for Security (Dfs-2.1) product security specification.
Understand business impact of implementing new secure procedures and practices. Increase resilience of our systems to threats and safeguard our customers' information, by implementing processes to secure our systems and networks.
Implement and monitor internal controls regarding access to and sharing of confidential information
Implement remediation actions to (1) secure end point devices connected to RA networks via PCs on desktops and in test and manufacturing equipment (2) to protect from external and internal viruses and attacks
Execute Manufacturing security framework initiatives to safeguard our operations facilities.
Ensure Software/firmware downloads are secure to enter into our operations environment.
Ensure a thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation Information Network.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent degree or education.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and manufacturing environment.
Experience in strategic thinking and leading and executing projects.
