If this describes you, we want you to join us in the Shield Emerging Leaders (SEL) program. The SEL program is a two-year rotational leadership development program designed to showcase the diversity and complexities in our industry, as well as to grow the next generation of Blue Shield leaders from within. As a participant in the SEL program, you will rotate through multiple business units based in key operational and strategic areas. Depending on both business need and your strengths and experience, your rotations will touch one or more of the following lines of business: - Corporate (HR, Finance, Internal Communications)
- Customer Experience
- Health Care Quality and Affordability
- Information Technology
- Markets (Sales and Marketing) In addition to your rotations, you will participate in a structured program that includes self-assessment and reflection, 360-degree feedback, Blue Shield’s leadership development curriculum, and other experiences to grow your industry knowledge, business acumen, and leadership foundation.
Upon graduation from this program, you will be uniquely prepared to compete for program and/or people manager positions across the company. You will receive support from the program as part of this transition to your first full time position, including customized training and connecting you to opportunities and hiring managers as you complete your final rotation. |
