Where the Chemistry Happens... Machine Operator - Ames, Iowa - (1901858) We're looking for a Machine Operator responsible for assisting in the execution of daily production schedule. This will include: producing products, mixing, blending, and packaging finished product. Duties and responsibilities include: - Bulk material handling
- Stage raw materials for production process
- Perform batch manufacturing
- Pump product into finished good container
- Comply with all Safety Regulations, including, batch ticket safety equipment specifications or any other safety issues that may arise.
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- Setup and stage containers per the daily production schedule.
- Continually maintain plant and grounds for cleanliness and organization.
- Perform mixing duties as needed
- Operation of forklifts
- Certification course required.
- Comply with all Safety Regulations
- This position will require overtime
- Accurately follow instructions and record data on production tickets including batch sampling and other duties associated with batch formulation, such as weighing, addition, and mixing various ingredients
