| Director Data & Analytics Products VF Global Data & Analytics team aspires to excel at leveraging the power of our valuable datasets, increasing the rigor and scalability of our current Analytics projects, maximizing impact from the VFAP, our Big Data Platform, developing advanced Machine Learning and Data Science techniques faster than we do today and using Artificial Intelligence at scale across our Digital products. We are looking for a hands-on Data & Analytics Products leader who can help tackle the above challenges and increase the customer and commercial impact by - improving the data science rigor, better leveraging our large data sets, and productizing and scaling analytics products. The Director of Data & Analytics Products, will play a critical role in helping this transformation. This role is inherently cross-functional and will work closely with data science, architecture, engineering, UX/design, operations and business teams to bring analytics products to market and enhance our existing products and processes. The person in this role will lead global product teams. He/she will come in and: - Think strategically, look at the business analytically, obsess about the customer and implement at scale
- Identify opportunities to eliminate friction and solve customer problems
- Set product strategy and vision of incorporating data analytics & BI across products in multiple domains
- Develop the product roadmap (epics, stories, and sprints) to deliver prioritized content and capabilities of analytics products to meet validated customer use cases
- Manage priorities against capacity to deliver results
- Articulate the value proposition for the solutions
- Define and analyze metrics that inform and ensure the success of analytics products
- Ensure quality of data and analytics products, including timeliness, performance, and accuracy
- Grow product usage, retention, engagement, and revenue
- Develop a rigorous Analytics Operations culture
- Build and inspire a positive, high-energy, results-oriented culture across teams rich in diversity and experience
- Participate in the hiring of new permanent staff and contractors
