Work you’ll do

As an experienced Migration Engineering Manager with an emphasis on enterprise server discoveries and migrations, you will be responsible for leading Deloitte delivery teams in the deployment, optimization, and support of ATADATA’s ATASphere platform.


Responsibilities: 

  • Provision Linux and Windows servers in cloud and virtual environments

  • Perform large scale migrations and discoveries using the ATADATA platform

  • Provide ATADATA product support to Deloitte practitioners as they are engaged in client projects 

  • Provide systems administration support as it relates to all aspects of server migrations/discoveries

  • Maintain tools for remote management and alert monitoring

  • Responsibility will include leading the implementation and support of infrastructure

  • Define, document, and maintain troubleshooting issues and prior experience into best practices for immediate use

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with potential tight deadlines

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years’ experience working as a Windows and/or Linux Engineer/Administrator

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with various flavors of Linux and/or Windows editions including CENTOS, RedHat/SuSE, Windows 2008/2012

  • Experience with other migration and discovery related tools and software (River Meadow, Racemi, and/or Cloud Endure)

  • Experience performing server builds, deployments, and installs

  • General knowledge and understanding of the TCP/IP protocol and networking

  • Knowledge on security policies for Windows and/or Linux servers

  • Experience on supporting multiple virtual and cloud environments

  • Knowledge of hypervisor technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V, and/or Xen)

  • Knowledge of the major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Alibaba) 

  • Experience in large, high volume, server environments consisting of high traffic/availability servers

  • Familiarity with large scale enterprise migrations consisting of physical, virtual, and cloud servers

  • Experience with virtual, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments, private and public offerings
