The Chief Technology Office (CTO) is driving technology transformation in a multi-cloud technology ecosystem to deliver products and innovative solutions at scale that are stable, secure, and always on. As a Senior Software Engineer in the CTO Test Automation team, you will support the development community and share your passion for accelerating deployment of quality code into production as part of the Technology transformation. You will join an elite team of Software Engineers driving this transformation through the agile delivery of quality software, products, and services for 3000+ applications. You will lead development of the Enterprise Test Automation Framework for Java, including building and maintaining enterprise and proprietary capabilities that are fully integrated into CI/CD enabling automated testing at scale to improve quality for 3000+ applications; as well as working with the test automation teams to enable agile delivery of software and test products. You will provide technical leadership in conducting Proofs of Concept undertakings to plan out a practical, time effective approach to test automation. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead development of the Enterprise Test Automation Framework for Java, as well as the integration of automated test capabilities and platforms with the enterprise framework and the CI/CD Enterprise Pipeline, to improve quality and enable functional, performance, service virtualization, regression, destructive, resiliency, chaos, mobile, and API testing. Drive adoption of the Enterprise Test Automation Framework for Java and introduce continuous improvements and updates that enable the agile delivery of software. Identify, visualize, and publicize quantitative and qualitative metrics, set goals, and work with stakeholders and Lines of Business to achieve goals and improve overall software quality for enterprise applications. Develop capabilities to improve quality at scale through analytics and AI/ML for the automated test analysis of test results, test coverage, defect reporting, tracking, resolution, and provide visibility into software lifecycle management integrated with JIRA, ALM, etc. Selected candidate will be required to work within one of the following Wells Fargo locations: Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, AZ. Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to one of these locations. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
