SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Project Manager is responsible for all technical and financial aspects of the assigned projects, from order acceptance by Sensia through to client sign-off. The duties will also require experience in proposal and estimate generation, client negotiations, contract review and sub-contractor communications. For large projects, the Project Manager will have Technical Leads assigned to closely supervise the technical sub-sections of the projects.
The successful Project Manager at Sensia Automation will possess deep O&G industry and application expertise, a strong commitment to technical excellence, and professional project execution combined with exceptional leadership qualities, commercial and technical expertise, and the ability to communicate and implement a standard of excellence in delivering successful projects and services to our customers.

Principally, our Project Managers lead and manage teams of engineers and technical professionals engaged in controls and automaton hardware and software engineering, design and consulting engineering, and project delivery throughout Brazil.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Functional
o Responsible for the Financial results, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction of the projects assigned.
o May participate in development of business team strategic plan.
o Performs all aspects of project management functions for customer projects, including commercial responsibility as well as technical.
o Manages execution of assigned projects within margin targets.
o Manages and reports all financial aspects of assigned projects.
o May apply complex and advanced project management and scheduling techniques.
o Apply O&G Industry Lessons Learned to projects execution

* Leadership
o Leads efforts of project personnel on complex projects.
o Coaches and helps develop less-experienced engineers assigned to projects.
o Leads project teams typically employing up to 20 engineering professionals and coordinates activities with support teams and other capabilities.
o May lead internal project process improvement efforts.

o Responsible for resource scheduling to meet project plan requirements.
