Responsibilities:
- Transactional closing processing for project accounting;
- Journal entry preparation and posting;
- Analysis and completion of the accounting for any required variances or adjustments to projects or ledger accounts;
- Preparation of account reconciliations (analysis and investigation of any reconciling items);
- Preparation of regular and ad-hoc reporting required for the Business Unit Finance;
- Supporting external/internal financial audits and the team lead with ad-hoc requests;
- Following company policies, procedures, US GAAP and SOX controls;
- Liaising with other departments to resolve cross-functional matters;
- Providing support for financial system implementations;
- Assisting with change and process improvement; also by leading small projects on process improvements or global standardization.
