Based on your experience in the application, testing, and installation of software products, assist the Vuforia team in bringing quality software products to market.

We want someone who is looking to be challenged, grow their career, and knowledge, and be a contributing member on a winning team with an inspiring mission.  The mission of the Software Engineer in Test is to build a first-class Test Automation and use Quality Assurance practices that help deliver world best of breed software to Vuforia customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Development and execution of test scripts and validation of test results (manual and automated)
• Help establish and improve an automated test environment for user interface (UI) and non-UI testing
• Follow monthly release cadence and execute manual/automated test cases.
• Participate in load or performance testing, writing automated test cases as necessary
• Work with developers to identify, analyze and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, content, and security
• Follows QA and risk analysis testing procedures to ensure all software is defect-free, adheres to departmental standards, and meets customer requirements
• Follow the company’s software development life cycle (SDLC) and participate in QA reviews, validation of requirements and specification documents

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Project Management tools, programming and scripting languages, automated testing tools, and source code management tools
• Proficient in Java or other object-orientated programming languages 3-5 years hands-on experience
• Proficient in JavaScript or other web scripting languages/tools (e.g. Python)
• Proficient with UI testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Webdriver IO, Appium)
• Proficient in writing automated tests for complex software applications
• Proficient in a Continuous Integration environment (gitlab)
• 2+ years of software test experience for mobile applications
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a related field of engineering
