The Role: Division Manager of Information Technology. The City: Cleveland. The Agency: Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Cuyahoga DD). The Mandate: To provide leadership, direction, and management of all agency Info Tech and Records Departments; develop strategic and operating goals; select, implement and maintain applications and hardware to support the Cuyahoga DD’s mission and goals; direct and oversee the Records department and ensure compliance with all regulations regarding consumer records; launch strategic initiatives across all departments. To this end, building and maintaining positive and effective relationships with one another, the individuals and families we support, and our vast array of community partners is paramount. Our Task: We have started our search for a new Info Tech Division Manager and our goal is interview the most talented people in this field who are interested in helping us achieve our mission while remaining providing the leadership and direction needed to maintain our technological edge. Our new Division manager will develop and execute a continuous technical plan of improvement, including short and long-term system developments and other related strategic goals. Encourage interdepartmental coordination and cooperation to improve program efficiency and effectiveness. But there’s so much more to do. That’s where you come in. The Division Manager will collaborate internally and externally to identify opportunities derived from Cuyahoga DD’s strategic plan to improve the lives of people living with disabilities and their families in Cuyahoga County. On top of that, the Manager will work with the Superintendent and department heads in developing and implementing processes and procedures throughout the Cuyahoga DD to ensure the continued functioning of all mission critical operations, including but not limited to: IT network, wireless networks, telephony systems, applications and databases, Gatekeeper (client information system, Oracle (financial system), DoDD systems, etc., and to ensure the maintenance of a disaster recovery plan.
