The main function of this role is to facilitate the receiving of incoming materials, stocking of said material, delivery of said material to the value stream, and shipping of finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:

• Physically receive in incoming purchased materials
• Use of a pallet jack or powered lift truck will be required
• Using ERP system receive in materials systematically Physically move material to storage locations keeping quality and preservation of parts into account
• Validate the quantity and quality of incoming goods Facilitate the return of non-conforming materials Manage integrity of on hand inventory count Manage the movement of materials in and out of storage area Define identification methods for materials Identify materials Pick and kit parts for delivery to value stream Collaborate with Engineering Technicians on parts needs for product being built
• Manage excess and unused materials from projects Facilitate return of unused materials to vendors Move materials and finished goods around facility
• Use of a pallet jack or powered lift truck will be required
• Package Finished goods to standards for shipment Arrange carriers as needed for shipment to customers Create pick lists for released projects as needed Close pick lists and create pack slips and Bills of Lading for shipments as needed
• Resolve discrepancies on project inventory and work with concerned parties (engineering, supply chain, operations) to update Bills of Material on completed projects
• Monitor part shortages and arrivals as needed. Escalate dates that are beyond needed by dates to concerned parties (engineering, supply chain, operations, project management) to ensure expedites are pursued in a timely manner
• Physically ship finished goods to customers Systematically ship materials in ERP system Collaborate with internal team on material shortages Arrange transportation of outgoing goods as required Assist Engineering Technicians from time to time as capable and required
