We are searching for an Art Director to join our Visual Branding creative team based in Lake Forest, IL.

Reynolds is looking for an Art Director to lead e-commerce photography and video projects. The ideal candidate will enjoy having the opportunity to influence the business through their ideas, research, and development of brand and corporate imagery. The candidate can expect to collaborate with the brand design team, brand marketing, e-commerce content team and corporate communications to deliver results. You would love to work here if you have:

Description

• CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT - Work collaboratively on new creative ideas, brand communications, and execution of final designs that are formatted properly for the medium, whether print or digital.
  • Create strong visual communication options with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Identify most effective communication options while enrolling all cross-functional feedback.
  • Support the brand strategy in all creative solutions.

• MANAGE MULTIPLE PROJECTS - Manage projects for corporate communications and brand communications.
• Collaborate with marketing, corporate communications and Visual Branding groups on all projects.
• Develop relationships with external vendors to complete specific types of project.
• PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Develop project plans with supervisor.
• Self-manage project demands, delivering all projects on time.
• Learn the internal design systems to manage projects for reviews & approvals.
• Learn and use the file system process for all graphics files.
• Develop the skill set to manage Minor, Major and Complex projects.

• Possess the desire to learn and improve through training for your personal development plan.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Visual Communications, Art Director of photography/videography.
• Minimum of 5 years applicable experience
• Excellent skills using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat; Power Point, Excel, and Word
• Possess excellent communications skills. Must be able to articulate your ideas - in visual, written and verbal methods.
• Must be team oriented to work collaboratively and responsively to rush requests and changing deadlines.
• Must know the technical requirements of digital media, photo art direction, photo retouching & 3D rendering.
• Must be able to project manage independently.

Icing on the Cake

• Experience with food and household consumer goods.
• Experience working on digital eCommerce programs.
• Experience creating persuasive images for on-line business.
• Familiarity with cross-functional work environment.
• Working on a highly skilled design team.
• Photography & Videography production skills.
