SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the design, development and maintenance of Rockwell-wide product selection and configuration and system configuration capabilities for desktop, mobile and web/cloud to support standard, made-to-order, and configured-to-order products, software, and services
* Establish future strategies and road maps for providing system layout, configuration, and product selection capabilities with linkage to post order design processes to establish a project lifecycle customer experience
* Oversee and inspire a diverse organization of program managers, product owners, analysts, developers, testers, project management, in program planning and execution
* Collaborate with business unit sponsors and IT to plan, fund, staff, and complete projects
* Collaborate with CX researchers/designers to deliver differentiating experiences for users
* Guide portfolio strategy/direction of the IT organization related in configuration/selection space
* Set priorities for IT organization for product selection and configuration
* Retain and oversee partners/suppliers who work with the team to augment and amplify team efforts
* Digitally empower distributors by delivering capabilities to their marketing/IT organizations
* Enable selection, configuration through all digital touch points as member of the company's digital business leadership team and collaborating with other leaders to achieve success
* Collaborate with business unit capability and tool owners to deliver coherent selection and configuration experiences across product lines and the customer project lifecycle
* Collaborate with Product Information Management Team and Technical Communications team to define content required to support selection and configuration and delivery methods
* Oversee marketing and event activities to promote tool use and adoption
* Assure timely technical support is provided to user community
* Serve as internal consultant for business units seeking to solve configuration and selection problems or pursue configuration and selection opportunities
