Your Role:
As a Tooling/Set-Up Mechanic, you will be responsible for perform all mold changes, including the disconnection, removal and relocation of mold and the installation, reconnection and set up of molds through to production function You will have the opportunity to:
- Support changeover time reduction efforts.
- Support and perform mold PM schedules, as assigned.
- Periodically clean and inspect the molds.
- Outline repairs as needed and communicate with the mold shop(s).
- Assist in documentation and record history of the specific molds
Ultimately, you will play a very important role on our manufacturing team and will help to create an efficient manufacturing environment. We need you to have:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to work safely
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as contribute to a team.
- Previous technical experience with thermoforming processes and equipment required
- Experienced operating cranes and forklifts and handling heavy molds
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
- Demonstrated initiative on previous projects and assignments
