Role We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer who specializes in frontend web applications and architecture, a beacon for technology talent and an advocate for engineering best practices. You will be part of an agile team, influence technology decisions across the organization, and help deliver solutions to world-class, global platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Implement best practices in code quality and security
  • Architect single page micro-frontends using modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Expert in frontend frameworks (React preferred)
  • Leverage AWS cloud services
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, product managers and researchers to refine and build products
  • Identify, prioritize and implement platform improvements in a data-driven way
  • Define, scope and estimate large scale projects
  • Mentor other engineers



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as information systems, mathematics, or computer science or equivalent work experience. Consideration given to equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience as a professional software engineer
  • Fluent in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS and SCSS
  • Experience composing large-scale applications
  • Experience with asynchronous and functional programming techniques
  • Experience with module bundling, code splitting (webpack preferred)
  • Experience with frontend cloud deployment and routing
  • Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming, multiprocessing, multithreading, domain modeling, RESTful and GraphQL interfaces, OAuth2 and public-key cryptography
  • Comfort with Agile/Scrum software development cycles
  • Effective collaboration, communication, and leadership skills
