WHO YOU ARE The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of business experience with a minimum of 2 years of ESG/sustainability/CR reporting experience, preferably with a global, publicly traded company. Have experience within the full scope of managing the development of the annual CR Report and responses to the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), CDP climate change disclosure and other ESG-related surveys, award applications and questionnaires. They will have solid experience and strong knowledge of Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI), CDP, Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), etc. JOB SUMMARY The Corporate Responsibility Manager is responsible for the development of CBRE's corporate responsibility (CR) reporting. This position requires a thorough understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics and reporting standards and frameworks. Working across various corporate functions, the Corporate Responsibility Manager will be responsible for the collection, monitoring and verification of relevant ESG data. The Corporate Responsibility Manager will also work on projects that support CBRE's corporate responsibility strategies, goals and targets. This position reports to the Vice President, Corporate Responsibility. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the development of the annual CR Report and responses to the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), CDP climate change disclosure and other ESG-related surveys, award applications and questionnaires. Respond to requests for information regarding the company's ESG performance from ratings and reporting agencies, current or prospective clients, investors and other stakeholders. Manage ESG data collection. Facilitate development of corporate carbon footprint. Manage data verification / external assurance processes. Work across regions and departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of data. Other responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Experience preparing corporate ESG/sustainability/corporate responsibility (CR) reports Advanced knowledge of, and experience with, ESG/sustainability/CR reporting standards, frameworks, and ratings & rankings such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), CDP, Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), etc Experience calculating a corporate carbon footprint, including Scopes 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions Understanding of the global sustainability landscape and key ESG issues affecting businesses Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong attention to detail Ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships across departments and geographies Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities Bachelor's degree required including 4 years of management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA or other master's degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of business experience with a minimum of 2 years of ESG/sustainability/CR reporting experience, preferably with a global, publicly traded company strongly preferred.
