Senior DevOps Engineer - SAP Plant Maintenance (2100142) - Geismar, LA or Freeport, TX Where the Chemistry Happens We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. Within our Engineering and Maintenance DevOps unit, you will support our internal Business Partners in the role of a DevOps Engineer to implement innovative solutions within and beyond our SAP platform. Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent Formula for Success - Your bachelor's degree and your in-depth knowledge in the maintenance process will be essential to perform requirements engineering and design the corresponding IT-Solutions.
- Demonstrating your proficiency in the SAP Plant Maintenance Module, you will plan, develop, test and support our System and its related mobile Apps.
- Your critical view on existing processes and structures and your openness to new trends and innovations will be valued assets in executing pre-studies with prototyping to enable the Digital Transformation of our Maintenance Tools.
- Using your superior communication skills, you will drive change requests through the whole release process, including workshops with business partners and steering of providers.
- Your experience with digitalization technologies such as Augmented Reality, Mobile Solutions (e.g. SAP Asset Manager, UI5 Apps) or interface technologies (e.g. Web Services, OData) will be an advantage for implementing innovative business solutions.
- This role will be 50% on site and 50% virtual office.
