We seek a Vice President to join the Investor Relations team for a leading middle-market private equity firm located in downtown Chicago. This role will manage all activities relating to investor relations (“IR”), marketing, PR and investor reporting. The individual in this role will work closely with the firm’s Managing Partner and the Head of Investor Relations in developing and managing new and existing investor relationships and will be the driving force of project/process management for IR. We seek an individual with exceptionally strong project management and business development skills, as well as excellent communications skills for this crucial role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of project management for the IR department, including implementation of new processes and systems
• Manage and support existing investor relationships through timely and thoughtful responses to requests for information
• Source and cultivate new relationships with prospective investors, including institutions, endowments, pension funds, foundations, family offices, high net worth individuals and families
• Create and update marketing and due diligence materials (including PPMs, DDQs and data room exhibits)
• Head the firm’s public relations function; work closely with external firms and consultants on all PR-related projects
• Play a key role in managing the firm’s annual investor meeting and quarterly investor update meetings
• Ensure all fund data is kept up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards
• Maintain a role in the firm’s investment committee and valuation process, staying active on new deals and ongoing portfolio management
• Prepare and dispatch quarterly investor letters, as well as reports for investors and advisory boards as necessary
• Serve as key contributor/leader of the development and implementation of the firm’s ESG strategy
• Manage and train IR Associate and Assistant
