JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to manage the business analytics processes and strategies such as: data integration, operational reporting, ad-hoc analysis, dashboard development, and data mining exercises. The outputs must be robust and cohesive to meet the contractual agreements for reporting account metrics. This role will define, implement, and constantly review change management processes necessary to effectively manage the data and related integrations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Designs, generates, reviews and understands reports. Uses aggregate data from multiple sources to create a complete analysis, improvement and/or recommendation(s).

Prepares and presents results of analysis and reports along with their relative impact(s) to the business to all levels of management.

Designs business metrics for accountability. Meets with various business groups to understand their requirements. Business metrics may include performance tracking, contract compliance measures, operational effectiveness metrics, and/or financial management measures.

Create, implement, and continuously improve/audit a change and release data management plan that minimizes impact to business operation. Ensure the client views of the data are delivering value

Identifies opportunities for improvements by and among the clients and/or companies.

Reviews accuracy of information provided and responds to requests from management.

Provides training, support, and documentation for all aspects of the reporting suite and related processes.

Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.

Coordinates involvement of personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations. Act as Program Manager for data-related projects and initiatives.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams plan and supervise assignments of lower level employees.
