This is an exciting Infrastructure Operations Engineer position over fast-paced, cutting-edge work within Innovation & Strategic Services Platform Management organization. This group plays an important foundational role enabling business & technology transformation and manages critical 'run the bank functions'. As an Engineer you will be responsible for full end-to-end platform initiatives & operational management of portfolio of applications. You will also be required to help us enable transform the bank functions while managing run the bank functions in terms of resiliency, automation, support & maturity of application plus infrastructure stack. This Infrastructure Operations Engineer role provides technical leadership for Enterprise Content Management & Enterprise Services domain. The Platform Team has knowledge of the environments, software, infrastructure, function, performance, capacity and data. These technology teams provide and support ECM solutions and core capabilities including: OpenText: Web Experience Management, Content Server, Appworks; Lucidworks Fusion; – Filenet / ECM / Java. We need a diverse group of technicians to support the transformation, enrichment and continued availability of assets to business and application development teams across the enterprise. Responsibilities Include: - Leading production support functions and driving the execution and maturity of multiple application support services including: incident triage, root cause analysis, change evaluation-execution-validation, deployment management, and risk & vulnerability management
- Working closely with development and infrastructure partners like middleware, NAS, database, network, etc.
- Communicating with broad audience, including tech and business leaders, simplifying complex messages for consumption
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues in a distributed environment
- Partnering to influence and support innovation & continued drive towards automation and touch less operational sustainment as a design/architecture construct working with technology partners
- Maintaining operational sustainment and risk reduction in the eco-system by aggressively pursuing safety and soundness type of actions not limited to: vulnerability remediation, patching, end of life and resiliency scenarios
- Hands on engagement on Production and BCP support activities for the platform and multiple applications
- Driving operational management via Critical Incident response, communication and tracking along with root cause identification and remediation
- Managing and coordinate Production change requests and release management activities as they pertain to the production support domain
- Providing operational continuity through the development, management, measurement, analysis and reporting of key service-level metrics as required by management
- Managing continuous services improvements and drives innovation to ensure SLAs and OLAs for the critical business processes, applications and partner interfaces
- Regular presentation of Production performance and incident, root cause and preventative actions, and trend analysis to technical and business Management teams
- Maintaining and update all Production related documentation as required
- Ensuring effective Production monitoring, alarming and notification response/maintenance
- Managing multiple concurrent issue resolution work-streams, project deliverables across environments in an agile way with changing priorities
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of systems analysis experience, systems programming experience or combination of both
- 5+ years of application production support experience
- 3 + years of experience working with an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Service Oriented Architecture Enabling (SOA) platform
- 5 + years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e. applications to infrastructure)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of design methodology, Infrastructure operations support or engineering
- 2+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology
- Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
- Ability to identify root-cause issues/improvement opportunities, and design approaches/programs/products to improve overall quality assurance
- Ability to manage and monitor Windows Server environments
- Ability to manage to production goals, deadlines, and various metrics
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- 3+ years of JIRA experience
- 3+ years of NAS experience
- 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
- 3+ years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience
- 3+ years of WebSphere experience
- 4+ years of distributed servers platform experience
- 4+ years of Splunk experience
- 5+ years of Linux experience
- Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
- Experience with a customer service mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
- Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics
- Experience using the team collaboration software Confluence
- 3 + years of experience developing or supporting IT Service Management solutions
- Experience with the installation, configuration and implementation or administration of Jboss Application Server
- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScript

Salary Information
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
