In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed. Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services. This lead-level position is needed to support ongoing testing initiatives for the Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group. More specifically, the Software Engineer will be act from time-to-time as the technical lead across many Branch Supervision initiatives, Information Lifecycle Applications providing or consulting on the overall test strategy for each major engagement. The test automation engineer will determine the complexity for each test area within a test plan and will set time-based expectations for test case creation and execution. This test engineer will enforce consistency, comprehensive coverage, and efficiency across all assignments. Expectations are that the test engineer will become a subject matter expert in the testing needs for applications assigned and will partner with the development team and key business stakeholders to understand the business needs, technical design, and current or targeted systems architecture. The Engineer will also be responsible for providing guidance on performance improvements and establishing performance testing with each application. Engineer should be familiar with all testing aspects of the assigned project(s) and readily articulate the testing status to superiors and partners at any time during the project lifecycle. Given the domain knowledge, the test automation engineer will also be expected to provide input to the sizing and estimation process for future development and/or production support efforts. The predominant focus areas for this resource will be in support of batch and real-time process (input/output feeds) testing for the Branch Supervision Platform, Information Lifecycle and Exit Management applications. This role will also require significant interaction with offshore testing staff on a daily or weekly basis.
