Strategy, Delivery, Innovation (SDI) and Shared Services is responsible for agile transformation, group portfolio delivery, group business process management, Global Program Office and project prioritization. SDI Delivery & Shared Services provides digital delivery for all consumer CEOs and project/portfolio management services, governance support and business process support for the SDI organization. In addition, we support the Risk Programs for the group.   In support of the customer-centric-based structure using the Customer Journey Delivery, our delivery teams have been aligned to support Customer Journeys. Our goal around organizing into Customer Journeys is to raise the bar on delivery execution, increasing efficiency and velocity of our teams. The Customer Journey structure will provide flexibility to pivot within Journey teams, in pursuit of opportunities and solutions that enhance the experiences for each customer and realize value to the company.

This position is a key consultant and development role that will support the design and enhancement of our Recurring Analytics Environment.  This environment is used to process and present data that is then used by analysts to complete analytical activity.  This role will be responsible for overall maintenance of the environment including timely delivery of processing activity as well as ongoing enhancement to improve efficiency. 

Primary responsibilities will include

• Designing a process for quality, flexibility, simplicity, repeatability, fault tolerance, debugging, and simple recovery on failures
• Developing and leveraging a scheduling and orchestration system to support process control and efficient job execution and process reliability
• Development of process documentation and a run book to enable ongoing execution and potential hand off to Operations
• Evaluation and incorporation of new data sources as needed

Locations:  San Franciso, CA or Charlotte, NC

• 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
• 3+ years of SAS programming experience
• 5+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
• 5+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 8+ years of data management experience
• 3+ years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery of data warehouse applications
• Knowledge and understanding of Git or GitHub
• Knowledge and understanding of Agile

• Exposure to one or more Wells Fargo data warehouses such as: EIW, BMG, MDSS, Hemisphere, C2T, ECCOS, Teradata Vantage

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

CA-SF-Financial District: Min: $108,100 Mid: $154,400 Max: $200,700
NC-Charlotte: Min: $90,100 Mid: $128,700 Max: $167,300
