Department Overview:
Consumer Lending and Banking Technology (CLBT) supports various applications for the CLBT line of businesses. The teams are spread across various locations including EGS. Team member will be working from any of the EGS India work locations. The technology teams work on various applications based on Java Stack, Microsoft, DWH, Etc.,.
About the Role:
The team is looking for an Apps Systems Engineer for Tier 3 application family. Team member will be working along with existing team and in direct coordination with US partners. He / She should have strong knowledge on Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Micro Services, Design Patterns, Architectural frameworks
Responsibilities:
Experience with Wholesale Technology and Processes
Demonstrate business partner value by understanding the business, advocating technology solutions to optimize / rationalize existing application landscape.
Recommend innovations, aligned with short term & long term business / customer requirements, enterprise priorities and industry trends.
Possess excellent Communication and technical writing skills
Exhibit good leadership skills and able to work independently with little or no supervision
* Ability to handle Ad-hoc as well as out-of-band service requests.
* Ability to understand and capture the business flows.

Essential Qualifications (Mandatory Technical Skills):
6 to 12 years of experience in Java/JEE application development and architecture.
Experience in architecting, designing and building Java/ Micro services apps with frameworks and libraries such as Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, JDBC, JMS, and JMX.
Extensive experience in designing patterns of Java, JavaScript frameworks, Architecture relationship diagram and tools Spring Core, Spring Boot based green-field development projects.
Experience designing and implementing APIs, including deep understanding of REST, SOAP, and HTTP etc.
Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Sonar etc.
Should have in-depth understanding of agile software development lifecycle.
Knowledge of architecture frameworks
Understanding of Cloud Native principles and techniques such as Micro services
Understanding of BDD, test driven development
Prior knowledge & experience in Banking Domain. Knowledge of Wholesale banking and in particular Corporate Trust Services will be an added advantage
Good Understanding with PAAS, SAAS
Good Understanding with Multitenant architecture, Micro Services, Container, Virtualization
Experience with designing solutions that support horizontal scalability
Experience with distributed processing of large data sets
Experience with establishing policies and procedures that enable effective and extremely efficient leveraging of DevOps methods
Experience with Linux and Windows based platforms
