Department Overview
CTO group is responsible for Agile, Architecture, Services, Product Development and Cloud, Engineering, and Tools, Site Reliability, as well as training and processes to enable the Wells Fargo Technology organization and the company to achieve this transformation. This structure is designed to ensure we become a product-centric organization
About Role:
Product Owners are the escalation points for that product in Wells Fargo. They are SMEs in their product and decide on which release should be in the environment and which should be removed. They look at the product release notes, for changes, test the version for stability in Lab environment and certify the product for usage in Wells Fargo. Are responsible for setting product standards, and finalizing the automation requirements (to pass on to the Ansible dev team). Also set the policies around server hardening (control procedures) and review them periodically.
Responsibilities:
Expert knowledge on the product architecture, efficient usage, latest versions and releases. Effective management of product end to end life cycle management. Should be able to perform comprehensive product testing before platform team s usage. Update/Keep HPSA/MW Hosting repositories with latest product release Quick to develop detailed game plans for product vulnerabilities identified, if any and make it available for remediation team. Should have proper knowledge on Enterprise tools TSC, JIRA, PACMS, QVR, HPSA and defined Control procedures. Should envisage future product usage and drive automations to make product usage easy for platform teams. Work with MOCAT team to develop proper scan scripts to capture all identified CP's. Help product users to remediate all vulnerabilities and provide them required documentation. Prepare Annual Product configuration policy for review on time to ensure that the product Configuration Policy continues to align with Wells Fargo risk objectives and priorities Should hold good understanding of DEVOPS and Agile process to drive efficient automations for the product. Should able to lead 'Product Owner' for product automations. Communicates, collaborates and negotiates with key stakeholders (value stream leaders, business groups and control group) Look at industry trends and customer feedback to brainstorm on product usage. Work with operations and technical teams to research and resolve issues. Clarify ambiguities and customer experience based on business requirements and product objectives.
