Job Title: Head of Become a Customer & Employee (BAC & EMPLOYEE) at WFIS – Engineering Senior Manager

About The Role: The Head of 'Become a Customer & Employee' (BAC & EMPLOYEE) Customer Journey within Consumer & Small Business Banking at WFIS will have overall responsibility for leading teams providing technology development, support and maintenance services & solution capabilities as part of the global BAC & EMPLOYEE leadership. This role will actively partner with senior technology leaders and business partners to support the technology deliverables for the group and objectives aligned with business, enterprise technology and corporate strategies. This role will have senior managers as direct reports and will also oversee the allocation of people and financial resources at WFIS to ensure efficient and effective management of the teams aligned with strategic objectives and will make critical technology decisions requiring strong operational risk and customer impact management. This role, in conjunction with BAC & EMPLOYEE CIO and leadership team, will be responsible for setting, driving and executing the BAC & EMPLOYEE roadmap for the enterprise to develop contextual and interactive experience that provides unparalleled prospect and customer engagement. The incumbent will lead and drive BAC & EMPLOYEE transformation efforts across the organization across customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:- Overall responsibility, as part of the global BAC & EMPLOYEE leadership team, for providing common platform software services & solutions to technology teams across BAC & EMPLOYEE technology group. Requires managing a large resource base of full time team members, contingent staff and offshore vendor partnerships.
- Provide senior leadership as member of the global BAC & EMPLOYEE technology teams in partnership with the Wells Fargo Technology (WFT) senior leadership team at WFIS.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the BAC & EMPLOYEE CIO and other key BAC & EMPLOYEE leaders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with other functional areas across Wells Fargo Technology at WFIS (e.g. Tech Infra, Tech COO & Tech Risk Management) as well as critical Enterprise partners (e.g. InfoSec, WFIS Platform Risk, Corp Finance, HR, Communications)
- Jointly accountable, in a global function, for delivery and performance, in partnership with the respective leaders, including service management and operational risk management
- Assess current staff capabilities, identify talent gaps, and execute talent management actions aligned with BAC & EMPLOYEE strategy effectively leveraging globally interchangeable talent pool

- Ability to effectively drive and lead change in an organization with Wells Fargo's size, scale and complexity.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the financial, operational, technical and regulatory drivers impacting a complex and dynamic global technology environment.
- Strong relevant prior experiences in effective management of technology financials and risk.
- Strong understanding of global technology trends and practices including cloud, open banking, big data and Agile/DevOps working.
