The Consumer Credit Risk Data Technology team is seeking a senior Ab Initio ETL developer who also possesses strong SQL skills to work on the RDR application development team. RDR supports consumer lending regulatory and compliance analytics and reporting. The role includes design, code, test, debug, and documentation responsibilities using Agile development practices. The role requires providing strategy and design for projects including upgrades and deployments. The position will implement Ab Initio ETL solutions in response to business partner and organizational needs and work with both domestic and international development teams. This Ab Initio Software Engineer will work closely with Database Engineers to design data solutions, interpret existing Ab Initio and SQL code and logic, implement complex ETLs to meet design requirements, and resolve issues in a timely manner. They must assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for the supported technology domain.

The candidate must be a self-starter, strong communicator, and good at in-depth problem resolution. Experience with Teradata platforms and databases, Agile development, and production issue resolution is needed. Willingness to think outside the box, dig deep into existing code, propose solutions, assist colleagues, and follow-through on high priority work is required to be successful. 

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

• 3-5 years of Ab Initio ETL development experience
• 2-3 years of SQL coding experience
• Teradata platform and database implementation experience
