About the Role:
The ICS Cyber Security Defense and Monitoring Group is looking for an Engineering Manager - Information Security for their Data and Analytics team to manage a team of highly skilled engineers who develop, enhance and maintain applications and solutions to strengthen the cyber security posture of Wells Fargo. The Engineer Manager will functionally lead and manage the team that is also responsible to monitor and administer the infrastructure/environment hosting the applications developed by the Data and Analytics team.
The Engineering Manager would also be responsible for identifying staffing needs based on the assessment of future business and regulatory requirements and play an active role in hiring. This role is part of the larger Cyber Security Defense and Monitoring team that plays a critical role in defending the organization from cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
The selected person should possess knowledge/experience of Data engineering/Data analytics and have experience in at least two or more areas in the domains of Enterprise Security infrastructure monitoring, Data loss prevention, vulnerability assessment/management, Cyber security operations/reporting and be able to manage & guide a team of specialists in the area. The person should be able to collaborate with key stakeholders, understand day-to-day operations and project requirements and guide the team to accomplish agreed-upon outcomes in the aforesaid areas.
The person will work as a part of highly interactive team that is expected to identify issues and help the team take next logical steps in terms of:
Escalate to the right team. Collaborate with other teams and act quickly on the information gathered/discovered. Clearly understand business/regulatory requirements and deliver projects in the above mentioned areas. Able to report to management critical issues in a timely manner and help take quick decisions based on accurate data.
The person should also be able to:
Relate the work that is delivered to the larger organizational policies, control requirements and initiatives to accomplish the same. Identify the required skills for fulfilling the deliverables in the required areas and upkeep the knowledge requirements from time-to-time. Participate in organizational initiatives that help mature the knowledge levels of the team. Drive and coach the team for high performance, Develop and maintain an accurate knowledge in the above mentioned areas.

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant Technology /Engineering discipline 12 - 15 years of information security experience with minimum 8-10 years of leadership experience. Experience in correlating the interaction between different security areas not limited to Analytics platforms, Datasets around the security platforms and adoption of Big Data and development platforms for the same. Experience/knowledge of Big Data and Analytics platforms such as Hadoop and its components like Hive, Spark, Kafka, HDFS etc. Delivery of projects/ operations with strong focus on quality and value creation for the organization/enterprise Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and program management skills. Effective verbal, presentation, written and interpersonal communication skills. Good negotiation, conflict resolution and decision making skills. Accountable for forecasting, capacity planning, building high performing teams and monitoring the success of integrated service delivery. Coaching and performance management of highly skilled teams Awareness of industry standards and best practices (CoBIT, NIST, ISO27000) Keeps abreast of latest information security trends specific to Banking & financial services Experience in global models, transitioning the roles from onshore to offshore Experience of local talent market that he/she can advise the onshore teams to stand-up newer technologies. Experience with global financial institutions
Desired Qualifications: Industry certifications like: CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001:2013LA, Hadoop Managed service delivery certifications like ITIL, Six Sigma will be beneficial Information Security leadership experience in Cyber Security Operations and managed services delivery Experience in technology consulting companies or experience in US banking sector is preferred Awareness of industry standards and their applications to financial organizations. Awareness about regulatory requirements for financial institutions and relate them to day-to-day operations.
