The Impact You'll Make in this Role

The Territory Manager (TM) is, inter alia, responsible for the sales, penetration and usage of 3M products, customer relationship development, outcome management activities. Focused on sales and product utilization in the assigned care facilities, the TM is responsible for achieving the revenue goals from the assigned customers through selling to clinical staff (physicians, nursing staff, etc.). The TM drives the selling, penetration and usage in all types of accounts.

The TM will support financial and strategic territory goals by driving Advanced Wound Therapy usage and organizing training and in-servicing sessions for personnel in the acute care setting. The TM and the Business Development Manager are working cooperatively and collaboratively with shared responsibility for driving success at the assigned accounts.

As a Territory Business Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Achieving account-level sales and penetration objectives.

• Driving utilization of the 3M product portfolio, according to the planned product mix objectives.

• Developing and managing favorable relationships with key decision makers (physicians, wound care nurses, nursing staff and others).

• Improving wound care knowledge and providing clinical training and education to customers.

• Identifying patients that benefit from Advanced Wound Therapy, including post-acute transition.

• Facilitating all steps for a successful post-acute transition process.

• Supporting clinical trials and product testing.

• Participating in customer events (congress, workshops, etc...), when required.

• Developing a territory sales plan to prioritize account calls, activities, penetration and usage.

Your Skills and Expertise

The successful candidate will be a sales professional with a background in the healthcare industry. Additionally, the candidate must have the ability to interact successfully with the customer and to sell, teach and train in the specialised Advanced Wound Therapy marketplace.

Experience:

• Sales experience within the medical (or life science) industry preferred but not essential

• Proven sales experience is essential

Education:

• Life science or Business Degree or equivalent required

Personal Characteristics:

• Enthusiastic and highly motivated

• Caring personality and motivated to improving the health and well-being of others

• Very good relationship building skills

• Team player with strong inter-personal skills

• Highly effective influencing skills

• Excellent presentation and education skills, both oral and written

Role Location: Regional role - covering all acute trusts within the East Anglia Region

Ideal candidate location: Cambridgeshire/Suffolk border

Sales Territories - Norfolk & Waveney, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex.

Remuneration

Salary - PShigh-reaching dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package.
