Position Summary
As a Portfolio Manager at RCP, you will have the opportunity to be in a highly entrepreneurial role. We are in the early stages of building a DEI fund focused on making primary fund commitments in diverse private equity and growth fund managers.
As the Portfolio Manager of the Elevate Fund you will lead and manage the DEI portfolio.
Additionally, you will be a member of the boarder investment team, participating in all aspects of RCP’s investment and approval process in regard to all other firm strategies including primary, secondary and co-investment commitments.

Duties and responsibilities

• Perform Portfolio Manager responsibilities of RCP’s Elevate Fund of Funds including:
  • Map and understand the landscape of opportunities
  • Proactively identify and source new manager relationships
  • Create and monitor forward pipeline of opportunities to coordinate portfolio construction
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with GPs
  • Conduct initial manager meetings to screen opportunities with Investment Committee
  • Lead due diligence process from initial meeting through IC approval
  • Participate in fundraising meetings for new DEI Fund
  • Manage portfolio of investments through Advisory Board representation and Annual Meeting attendance / write-ups
• Work on all of the other RCP strategies including primary, secondaries and co-investments. In particular, this will include sourcing, leading, advocating and monitoring primary investments for our emerging manager fund, flagship funds, and advisory accounts.
