The Full Stack Application Engineer will design, develop, and deliver reliable, scalable platforms to build our key systems and services throughout the company. This role is the face of IT's engineering organization to the company and critical to delivering business recognized value. In this role you will: Work on a team of engineers, technical leaders, analysts to enable new features for internal and external customers, while keeping our applications secure and stable. Prototype, design, build/deliver and steward resilient platforms for a business capability Mentor others in technologies, tools, and processes Operate in an agile capability team where quality and security are built into daily work and we make time to help others improve their environment as well. Attack roadblocks and impediments to delivering incremental value Serve as the go-to person for triaging system anomalies (bugs, security, performance) Aggressively drive out technical debt and build feedbacks into your system. Shape our future by presenting your own designs to groups across IT and the company while reviewing designs of others Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit /functional tests to improve coverage and automation metrics. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the Software stack.Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.Adaptability and flexibility to work with others and contribute to project with stretch in critical times of project life cycle.Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the existing content supply portfolio of applications and services.Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes. Qualification and Skills Required:Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, computer science or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in software application development.In depth and working experience of Microsoft Technologies such as Visual C++ (Multiple Document Interface type), Microsoft Foundation Class Library, C# (C-Sharp) with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and knowledge of Universal Windows Platform (UWP).Design and develop new Modules or Enhancements as per the given requirements. Resolve anomalies of moderate to high degree of complexity.Work experience on Visual studio IDE's and Team Foundation Servers.Working knowledge of design for security concepts and practicesWorking experience on Security vulnerability tools like Synopsys or related is an added advantage.Broad Knowledge in Analysis, Design, Development and Testing with strong Project/Product Development Experience in an Agile/SAFe Principles.Unit, system, integration, regression testing including manual and automated with knowledge of design for testability concepts and practices, leveraging tools like Qtest and TOSCA.Some experience instantiating cloud platforms services (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.) Dabbled with scripting and automation skills. (Python, Perl, Go, Yaml, Jenkins)Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration technologies. Good to have:Know-how of JIRA would be an added advantage.Know-how of Salesforce CPQ PlatformKnow-how of Industrial Automation Domain.Past work experience on Cloud-based Product Development would be an added advantage.Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements Soft Skills:Self-starter able to make progress with minimal supervision.Good Communication Skills and Presentation Skills.Strong collaborative & leadership skills.Excellent code documentation.Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question partners across functional areas Strong listening, pragmatic feedback, negotiation and conflict resolution skills Are motivated to solve problems and have a bias for action. Have an aptitude for technology and love tinkering with it. Enjoy spending time coaching and pushing others to be successful. Always leave something better than they found it.
