Job Description The North American Trade Management Analyst 1 will be responsible for leading the daily import compliance operations and contributing to a highly compliant environment. The position will require the individual to follow, create and improve processes and procedures ensuring consistent practices while ensuring compliance with Global Trade Compliance policies. Strong organizational skills and analytical skills are key to prioritize incoming requests and audits. The Analyst will also proactively oversee and guide import and export compliance matters while effectively interacting with employees and outside partners at all multiple levels. Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently and effectively with other members of the organization on a variety of international trade compliance matters.Core Tasks and Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, manage, and prioritize import inbox, answering Requests for Information (RFI) and Customs hold tracking emails along with various import related questions from both internal and external stakeholders, to ensure timely and accurate submission to Customs. Support as back-up Canadian broker RFI's and related importation issuesComplete daily processes for download and execution of audit entry selection, work with brokers to resolve data issues and issue auditing to team as required by CTPAT- Trade ComplianceAudit customs entries prior to statement and communicate with brokers to ensure resolution for a complete and accurate importationManage and prioritize post entry processing, including working with plants to identify discrepancies between goods receipts and import entryComplete daily recordkeeping tasks supporting both US regulations and Rockwell company policyManage payment processes for brokerage including resolution of issues and outstanding paymentsManage internal check logging and recordkeeping and ensure timely turnover to Accounts ReceivableConduct training for Customs Brokers ensuring both compliance to US regulations and Rockwell Automation specific requirementsSubject Matter Expert for Rockwell US Brokerage Standard Operating ProcedureAssist in maintaining Export/Import Compliance Policies, Procedures and Manuals for both US and CanadaSupport, advise and inform other functional areas, as needed, for special programs and projects in US and CanadaProvide support in connection with internal/external audits and investigationsSupport as required export operational tasks, including auditing, Sanctioned Party Screening, export license assignment and RFIs from forwarders.#LI-GK1#LI-ZN1 Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
