Job Description Rockwell Automation's Sales Training Program is a rotational training program that is a combination of sales, technical and professional training in both classroom and on-the-job settings. After completion of the training program, Associates are placed in a field sales office in one of our 40+ locations across North America. We are currently hiring for the Associate Account Representative role in our program. Account Representatives: This role represents one of the primary points of contact between Rockwell Automation and our customers. They are responsible for managing customer relationships and driving market share growth across all of Rockwell Automation's offerings within their assigned customer responsibilities. This role partners with Account Managers in their efforts to grow Rockwell's sales across their assigned accounts. Account Representatives focus on qualifying sales targets and leads and identifying sales opportunities through virtual customer interaction, and Account Managers focus on progressing identified opportunities through the sales cycle and closing new business through in person customer interactions. Our Associate Account Representatives need to become thoroughly familiar with company policies and procedures and appropriately apply policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation Information Network. Basic Qualifications Minimum cumulative GPA 2.75 Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this job opening Preferred Qualifications Desired Minimum GPA 3.0 Willingness to relocate and a valid driver's license Preferred degrees: Business, Supply Chain or Engineering related disciplines Individuals must have a demonstrated record of technical competence, interpersonal skills, leadership ability, and a strong desire for achievement.
