Job Description CONNECTED COMPONENTS BUSINESS LEAD (Safety, Sensing and Industrial Components (SIC), Distributed I/O & Small Controllers Business (DCB), Small Logic Controllers (SLC) Summary: The primary objective of the role is to create opportunities by segmenting the market, identifying opportunities for growing the components business, and advancing opportunities by creating programs, tools, and training to enable Rockwell Automation Salesforce and Distributors to win opportunities. Within assigned geography, the Components Business Lead is responsible for the development of sales strategies and plans, and execution for Industrial Components, Power Products, Sensors, and Safety components, Distributed I/O, Small Controllers, Small Logic Controllers, and associated services to meet or exceed annual sales goals and grow market share. This individual is also responsible for providing sales leadership and consultation within assigned geography as well as assuming direct involvement in major sales opportunities. Possesses domain expertise of industries applications and able to articulate capability and benefits of the portfolio when involved in sales pursuits. - Developing business management goals and objectives that achieves business objective and revenue growth for Safety, Sensing and Industrial Components (SIC), Distributed I/O & Small Controllers Business (DCB), Small Logic Controllers (SLC) businesses.
- Designing and implementing business plans and strategies to enable the attainment of goals.
- Provide functional leadership of the Industrial Control, Distributed I/O, Small Controllers, Small Logic Controllers, Sensor and Components Safety businesses in the region by leading & driving a consultative sales process with key customers & authorized Allen-Bradley distributors.
- Strong supporter of our customer centricity. Understands the importance of demonstrating concern for satisfying customers. Passionate about developing goals to improve our customer experience.
- Lead a disciplined sales process to grow market share through a premier network of industrial Distributor specialists, Rockwell Account Managers, Systems Integrators, as well as targeted End Users & OEM conversion accounts.
- Prioritize the education of distributor product specialists and the Rockwell Sales Force to develop critical competencies and sales strategies which reinforce Rockwell Automation's leadership position in the Safety and Industrial Control market. Ensure that the Distributor & RA Sales forces have a well-qualified disciplined sales approach and 'own' the closed-loop process to ensure accountability.
- Assist OEM and User Sales teams at Rockwell in assessing top market opportunities and ensure execution which will help to drive successful sales strategies.

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Business Management or Manufacturing Technology related field.
- Three years' experience working with regional customers across multiple industry segments to create strategic sales and business plans.
- Five years' experience with Industrial Components, Power Products, Sensors, and Safety components, Distributed I/O, Small Controllers, Small Logic Controllers in a manufacturing, sales or business management capacity.
- Must be able and willing to travel up to 30% of the time.

Desired Qualifications: - The ideal candidate has significant experience with factory automation and Distributed I/O, Small Controllers, Small Logic Controllers, Sensor and Components Safety products, as well as the relevant machine safety standards and Services.
- A familiarity with the risk assessment process, as well as experience with machine safety products is desired. Certification in or training toward, completion of Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) role is a plus.
