Position Summary

As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for leading the product management function of Rockwell Automation's market leading visualization software product line(s). Responsibilities include product planning, product definition, forecasting, promotion, product life cycle management, and developing strategies to optimize the performance of existing and new products. You will work closely with Global Sales & Marketing, third party partners and other Rockwell product groups. This position will allow you to collaborate with multiple global cross-functional teams.

• Determine the total global market and available market for the product line.
• Provide leadership on key partner relationships that support growth of Visualization software business.
• Analyze global industrial control markets, identify trends and understand competitive offerings.
• Prepare and present business case to management to obtain required product line investments.
• Responsible for developing talent on the team.
• Responsible for collaboration and obtaining agreement with Engineering and Operations on product implementation plans.
• Define and communicate market and customer requirements.
• Provide a 5+ year market focus of critical product line(s)

Basic Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent
• Typically requires ten years of industry and product line management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial Automation industry knowledge
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage a geographically dispersed team to achieve position objectives

• Experience in XaaS product management principles and leading digital transformations
• Demonstrated team leadership within a matrix environment
• Previous software product management experience
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation or competitive visualization products
