Job Description

The Product Specialist is responsible for increasing the satisfaction of existing customers of ThinManager and driving product integration across the Rockwell Software Portfolio. Preferred location is Mayfield Hts, Ohio. We will also consider remote locations in the United States.

ThinManager is a centralized device management and content delivery platform. The key responsibilities of this role will include supporting commercial program initiatives, such as programs to standardize licensing on a common model, to drive issue to resolution with strategic customer engagements, and to understand product gaps.

Additional responsibilities include

• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive resolution for technical issues between the customer support organization, product engineering, and the business unit
• Understand challenges of the distribution channel and relay those challenges to appropriate parties to enhance the overall experience and promote customer retention driving recurring revenue. This will include working with customer success managers for strategic enterprise accounts and global subscriptions team to increase retention rates
• Lead competitive analysis exercises to identify market gaps
• Support commercial program initiatives such as programs to standardize licensing on a common model
• Facilitate certification initiatives and drive technical standardization into the product across Rockwell systems teams and external System Integrators
• Drive technical needs between the ThinManager software team and the thin client hardware teams to collaborate on market needs
• Manage the ongoing transition of technical documentation into standard formats and provide the documentation team all required commercial and technical information
• Assist product management with development of sales tool creation, managing product launches, and in leading planning efforts for key commercial events and initiatives

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical fields
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Automation industry knowledge with control system / software background desired
• Strong customer relationship management skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups and peer business units
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and influencing capabilities
• An ability to work with a geographically dispersed team to achieve position objectives
• Experience with ThinManager, Remote Desktop Services, various human machine interface platforms and virtualization systems preferred
