Department Overview
Enterprise Functional Technology (EFT) aimed at providing common, consistent, and foundational software services and solutions to be used across technology at Wells Fargo. The group includes the strategic development and support of core information management services including data technology blue print, common data services, customer relationship management services and customer due diligence services to be leveraged across all technology teams in Wells Fargo. Additionally their Cloud enablement services is another strategic priority to re-engineer of a significant portion of Wells Fargo's large and complex application portfolio.
About the Role You will work as part as part of Wells Fargo Technology team, this is an Engineering manager position responsible for leading a team of highly skilled engineers in Customer Excellence technology group. You will interact closely with the EGS delivering team and multiples partners including US delivering team.
Responsibilities- The incumbent of this position is responsible for leading a cross-functional team through the complete software development lifecycle, developing in a fast-paced environment.
- Drives complex programming activities with an agile mindset using the latest technologies to build products that are scalable, durable, and secure.
- Manage the team from the day to day activities.
- Hire, build and Develop high performing team and manage the attrition
Essential Qualifications- Demonstrated success in creating and driving effective technology teams in global business environments.
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience, of which at least 7 years in technology leadership roles.
- Delivers high-quality, scalable and cost-effective technology solutions that meet business requirements and conform to architectural designs and technology
- Minimum 4 -5 years experience with handling teams in Data Analytics , Reporting and ETL spaces
- 2 years of experience and exposure to Oracle DB and PL SQL technologies
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence Reporting tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau
- Experience with object-oriented design and development, including strong working knowledge and experience with various architectural , design patterns and Solid Principles
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Github, TFS, Jenkins is a plus
- Act as a technical and change advocate – promoting use of technology and assessing landscape for continuous improvement
- Take ownership of delivery and manage multi-release projects in AGILE
- Ability to decide and act without having the big picture and comfortable handling risk and uncertainty
- Manages and mentors team of direct reports by providing career path conversations and guidance, and helping them achieve their goals through effective development and training plans
- Ability to effectively communicate with and manage project stakeholders across multiple levels.
- Ability to establish executive level relationships across the various business and technology organizations
