Overview

T&E Team Leader position combines both daily people& process management together with ad-hoc project management and leadership responsibilities. This role will represent Global Finance Operations on assigned strategic processes efforts, and related projects working closely with Manager (Global Business Process Owner) on the processes design.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

• Plan, lead, organize, execute and control Travel& Expense operations
• Manage T&E compliance audit global team > 5 direct reports.
• Provide advice and support to the team in every-day issue resolution.
• Ensure relevant company policies and procedures are being followed;
• Maintain a robust control framework and compliance;
• Assure alignment and seamless collaboration within the process and with internal and external stakeholders;
• Monitor, manage and report process performance, set priorities whenever needed;
• Drive process continuous improvement through LEAN program;
• Drive high employee engagement and empowerment;
• Develop support and set goals for team members.
• Responsible for coaching and career development of direct reports.
• Act as escalation point;
• Recruit new staff;

Project Management:

• Lead, own moderate to large projects within finance/T&E/P2P area, lead change;
• Ensure changes are being led and documented appropriately;
• Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project deliverables are met;
• Keep management informed of implementation activities and progress through regular communications, meetings and status reports, and by reporting exceptional circumstances in a timely manner to ensure delivery of commitments;
• Partner or lead cross-functional activities with internal and external business partners to provide tactical thought partnership or leadership to effectively drive project delivery.

Qualifications

• English fluency required;
• 3+ years of financial/accounting and/or systems related experience.
• Ability to be self-directed and work independently.
• Experience in people management
• Travel and Expense or Purchase to Pay process experience a plus.
• SAP experience a plus;
• Prior experience implementing, administering, or supporting Concur Expense is a strong plus.
