JOB SUMMARY: The goal of the CBRE Senior Program Manager is to exceed the expectations of our customer. We do this by ensuring their equipment is maintained to the highest standards, in turn, this allows them to provide the absolute best service for their customers. Packages must be processed through the conveyance systems quickly, accurately and in a cost effective manner so the end customer receives the right product, at the right time, every time. CBRE is seeking a groundbreaking thinker with extensive manufacturing maintenance knowledge to lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and cmms personnel in our clients Delivery Center network. The Senior Program Manager will be a highly experienced subject matter expert in manufacturing equipment maintenance, workplace safety, data driven management leadership, and have an obsession to provide the best possible service to our partners. A background in packaging automation, distribution processes, mechanical systems involving power transmission through gearboxes and belts, and an understanding of base building maintenance is a plus. The Senior Program Manager (SPM) is the leader of the CBRE site delivery stations which is responsible for every aspect of the RME Team. The Senior Program Manager is the person who drives the business to achieve all the CBRE KPI metrics as well as all the KPIs required by our customer. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, possessing the ability to manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously as well as be able to influence, and develop relationships at all organization levels. Must be capable of overseeing the maintenance and staffing of launching new sites. Moreover, this individual will need to be adept at providing technical leadership and mentoring to a team of at least 100 people across North America. The individual will be deeply involved in the execution of the preventive maintenance process, monitoring compliance to the KPIs on a daily basis, and utilize the CBRE RME Team to provide immediate solutions to any equipment downtime that may occur.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor and maintain a safety first culture in which CBRE employees return home in the same condition they reported to work in. The Senior Program Manager must lead by example and maintain ownership in delivering safety training on daily basis with the on-site team. Provide leadership, mentor and manage site-based technicians and Area Maintenance Managers in our clients North American Delivery Network. Develop Maintenance department business plans and provide guidance and direction for the successful implementation of those plans. Develop and implement Reliability plans that support increasing the Uptime of the equipment in these facilities. Drive maintenance Best Practices: Innovate, document, improve work methods, standardize, provide a safe work environment and require safe work practices, train, commission equipment, collect, measure, and analyze key performance indicators to improve processes and improve customer's experience. Offer guidance to senior leadership on maintenance and equipment end of life (EOL) issues using ROI, and other analytical techniques. Provide oversight for budget development and execution, and capital planning. Help manage vendor support and equipment relationships and leverage our client's network size to maximize economies of scale. Provide monitoring, auditing and enforcement of maintenance execution, safe work practices, and institute and audit training drills across the network. Leverage the entire maintenance team for the benefit of the North American network. Develop and manage budget and contract documents including RFPs, change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing. Provide Delivery Site Leaders with visibility of Maintenance activities in their delivery centers. Recruit, interview, and hire bar raising talent in the delivery centers, helping create a world-class Maintenance organization to lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and cmms personnel in our clients Delivery Center network. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide formal supervision for a team of supervisors, technicians, and cmms personnel in our clients Delivery Center network. Responsible for personal check-ins with the employees as well as performance evaluations. The candidate will lead the recruiting and interviewing of highly skilled maintenance technicians, supervisors, and cmms resources. This team member must provide the highest level of support for all client Associates and the Delivery Centers Operations Team. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) is preferred. 5+ years' experience managing and coaching employee performance in a manufacturing environment. Must include experience in supervising hourly and salary employees. +4 years' working directly with the maintenance and upkeep of manufacturing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
