JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to provide strategic and governance oversight and accountability to organizational multi-year multi-phased initiatives for business case validation, program roadmap development, capital and expense tracking at the program level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementing complex programs to meet organizational goals. Ensures projects are aligned to organizational strategic roadmap(s). Maintains the efficiency of the project management process such as planning, scheduling, and budget and risk assessment.
Defines, creates, maximizes and sustains program benefits. Ensures value-add program benefits are being demonstrated. Provides impact analysis on the overall program based on individual project performance rolling up to their program(s). This role is the main point of contact for all technology workstreams for an enterprise.
Creates and forecasts program(s) cost(s)/timeline(s). Identifies and monitors overall program costs, timing and deliverables to ensure key milestones are achieved. Obtains change approval(s) for program(s).
Interfaces with BRMs (Business Relationship Manager) in achieving alignment with programs and business units.
Manages internal and external relationships in support of program(s); may contract and manage vendors. May provide consultation on complex large scale projects that integrate into an organized program.
Provides recommendations on benefit realization as a criteria for ""go/no"" go decision on program future spending (including tracking financial and qualitative results).
Creation of policies, procedures and processes relating to the program/project lifecycle and track management.
Supports the capital planning process. Reports to capital committee and team within matrix environments.
Builds and drives business case processes and assesses development(s) to align with business goals and drivers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project team. Leads project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees. May have responsibility for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating a work unit and/or group.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university with an emphasis in either Math, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business or related field. Master's degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum eight years of related experience and/or training.
Expertise in developing and implementing technology standards across a workplace program.
Experience overseeing multiple projects with a focus on technologies in audio visual, network, security and low voltage. Experience managing and overseeing technology vendors and building/managing a team.
Previous Project Management and Program Management work experience required.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Certification(s) in PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or preferred.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees and client groups to take desired action.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations of significance to the operation.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Proficient experience in MS Office Products (Excel, Access, Power Point, Word, etc.), SharePoint, and MS Project Server. Ability to use query and report generation tools. Self-service/web based application experience preferred.
