JOB SUMMARY The Head of Social Media, Influencers, and Partnerships will be responsible for driving audience engagement across new and emerging platforms globally. This position will lead a team and build an integrated strategy around fan engagement, community management, sponsored and branded social integrations, brand voice, as well as talent and influencer engagement. This position will also have a strong vision for compelling content and will work closely with the creative team to identify new and innovative ways to grow audience and engagement through breakthrough content across all global social platforms. This position will approach every project through the lens of our founder's mission and creative vision. RESPONSIBILITIES Integrated Strategy & Planning * Lead development of holistic integrated strategy across social media, influencers, and partnerships to achieve key objectives. * Drive planning and execution of our social media strategy from end to end, including identifying goals and success metrics, planning, budgeting, creative development, content calendars and community management. * Lead development of platform strategies, including playbooks and best practices for existing platforms, and go-to-market launch plans for emerging platforms. * Working with Integrated Marketing leadership, create seasonal campaign briefs and drive cross-functional orchestration between regions, functions and creative services. * Partner with regional marketing leadership to share platform best practices, standardize effectiveness measurements, and drive content localization strategies. * Hindsight social and influencer campaigns, measuring and analyzing performance and action learnings to maximize effectiveness. Social Content Development * Drive ideation and innovation on social voice, storytelling, and content to bring the brand's multiple dimensions to life. * In close partnership with Creative Services, lead development and implementation of a broad range of content types including video, still imagery, and animations to be leveraged across a variety of social platforms. * Identify relevant social media trends and translate into unique and ownable concepts for the brand. * Ensure content strategies are globally scalable, and lead localization strategies for Chinese platforms including WeChat and Weibo. Influencers & Partnerships * Develop influencer strategies that maximize effectiveness against our objectives, execute in partnership with VIP & Influencer Talent team. * Create community building and user generated content strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement. * Propose new ways to create and distribute brand content across the social and digital ecosystem, including virtual experiences, editorial partnerships, and brand media. * Provide thought leadership and perspective on emerging technologies for adoption where appropriate, to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital content delivery. EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED * Minimum 10+ years professional experience in integrated or content marketing, social media, communications from a B2C perspective * Start-up and rapid growth experience is a plus * Experience running best-in-class social media campaigns, understand the rapidly changing competitive market * Highly creative and can develop new ideas to be a leader in the industry * Self-starter with a hands-on approach, good instincts for prioritization and the ability to work under a high-pressure, fast-paced environment * A deep understanding of the creative process, and an ability to effectively collaborate with creative partners * A demonstrated ability to develop, coach, create focus and clarity in your team, communicate on an ongoing basis to provide context * Strong communication and presentation skills, and an ability to influence stakeholders |
