Position Description

The IT Security Project Manager will be part of the Security Capability Management and Governance team responsible for leading or supporting the execution of Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) goals and objectives in Europe through the governance and management of ISRM initiatives and resources and ensure security risks are managed and the organization complies with security requirements and regulations through active collaboration with our customers and stakeholders. The role will lead and support security initiatives to improve the security posture of McKesson, provide progress and reporting metrics, and work with stakeholders to ensure assets comply with the Global CISO's Information Security Program. The role will report directly to the Director of Information Security, Security Capability Management and Governance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Project Delivery
  • Lead project work streams across various stages of the project lifecycle
  • Effectively work in cross-functional, diverse team environments, including members of IT Capabilities, Business Units and External Vendors
  • Actively engage with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure initiative milestones are met
  • Meet project timelines to support realization of project benefits
  • Deliver creative and innovative solutions as appropriate
  • Deliver results that achieve or surpass projects targets based on ROI, customer satisfaction, or employee satisfaction improvement objectives
  • Report on progress and completion including identifying, escalating and tracking risks and issues
  • Work with IT and product groups to identify, design and deploy relevant technologies or processes
  • Monitor McKesson pipeline of key initiatives to identify opportunities for integration and/or manage potential risks
• Change Management and Communications
  • Support the analysis and development of change management strategies to enable successful project deployments
  • Communicate effectively to and influence stakeholders across multiple levels
  • Collaborate with the Communications team and project stakeholders on a communications plan and ensure the successful implementation of the plan
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships through individual contacts and group meetings
  • Act as an ambassador and change agent with project stakeholders during implementation phases

Minimum Requirements

5+ years in IT, Cybersecurity or Information Security Project Management

Critical Skills

• Strong Experience in agile and traditional (waterfall) methods for project delivery
• Self-Starter that requires minimal supervision, manage different activities effectively, and can provide oversight and coaching to others for any assigned projects or tasks.
• Strong communication skills (listening, oral and written)
• Demonstrated capacity to become "expert" in new topics and disciplines quickly
• Demonstrated experience effectively leading and managing collaborative, cross-functional teams to successfully deliver programs and/or multiple projects on-time and within budget based on agreed upon scope and business goals
• Strong ability to influence or negotiate with stakeholders dealing with competing priorities
• Capable of anticipating needs and driving clarity on expectations
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment from project stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and report on actionable status
• Experience in using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other project-related tools (Visio, Project)
• Strategic thinker

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of the healthcare and software industries
• Knowledge of information security or cybersecurity
• Familiarity with healthcare, privacy, and financial compliance regulations would be an advantage
• Experience in managing initiatives using Jira and Smartsheets
• English speaker
• Knowledge of another European language like French, German, or Norwegian would be an advantage

Education
4-year degree in project management, information technology or related field or equivalent experience
