Current Need We are seeking a Health Mart Atlas Sales Representative to join our team in New Albany, OH (preferred) Position Description The Health Mart Atlas Sales Manager will: - Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Use cold calling techniques for lead generation and to support upselling activities.
- Follow-up with, upsell and close warm leads in a timely manner.
- Maintain a current funnel to document sales activity
- Collaborate with internal business partners to execute the sales process with pharmacy customers and prospects to sell Health Mart Atlas and our value solutions.
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of the overall account strategy and plan to support new business opportunities and support the up selling of Health Mart Atlas products to help retain McKesson customers.
- Coordinate the highest level of on-going coordination with prospects to see the opportunity to a close.
- Appropriately qualify customers, identify sales opportunities and demonstrate the value of our offerings to close the sale.
- Coordinate sales calls including scheduling with prospects and developing presentations to meet the prospects/customers need.
- Maintain a positive customer relationship and coordinate with the prospect, ISMC and MHS field sales and the onboarding concierge.
- Initiate the new member enrollment process, including signing DocuSign sales recap and other related documentation; work closely with the Enrollment Concierge to ensure policies and procedures are followed when adding and loading members to our contracts and confirm entry in all appropriate contracts.
- Maintain prospect material and request re-supply from marketing as needed.
Key Responsibilities - Proactively sell our solutions to pharmacy prospects in order to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Engage in cold call activities to support lead generation and identify upsell opportunities.
- Proactively follow-up on warm leads to sell and upsell the Health Mart Atlas managed care and reimbursement solutions.
- Build relationship with field sales team to support lead generation and cross business selling opportunities.
- Maintain a sales funnel and keep updated
- Utilize effective probing to uncover need and position our solutions to close the sale.
- Respond to and research all prospects inquires in a timely manner. This requires a solid understanding of the right resources to answer questions/concerns that are often routine but can be complex in nature. Ongoing learning of existing products and services
- Utilize DocuSign and Salesforece.com to support enrollment.
- Ensure strict compliance on new loading and dropping procedures. Staying compliant with privacy laws and HIPAA.
Minimum Requirements typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience. Critical Skills - Direct sales experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience collaborating as a member of an external field sales team
- Direct experience with Salesforce.com
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Additional Knowledge & Skills - Prior pharmacy experience preferred
- An excellent understanding of third-party contracts, managed care field and/or health care industry
- Strong presentation and value creation ability
- Customer orientation and consultative selling experience with working knowledge of retail sales industry
- Strategic/creative thinker with strong business/financial acumen
- Excellent Problem-Solving skills - ability to research, resolve and use available resources
- Good time management; set and meet weekly objectives and follow through with high sense of urgency
- Ability to work in large matrix environment and build relationships with other sales teams
- Ability to learn a challenging and growing product portfolio; ability to uncover need and demonstrate value
